Returning on Saturday 30th September is Glasgow’s leading multi-venue festival Tenement Trail. With so many acts to choose from, the festival will have you running up and down Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street and beyond. As per usual we are here to help, these are the acts you simply can’t miss.
Vistas stand as one of Scotland’s fastest rising artists. Their addictive indie summer vibes simply draw you in. They’re your typical jangly guitar band, however there is something that bit special about them. Fresh from playing TRNSMT and an aray of summer festivals, Vistas take on Glasgow once more. Headlining the Garage attic bar at 9:45pm, you simply can’t miss this quartet. Fauves are still a relatively new band when it comes to the Glasgow music scene. Their live show is bound to spark some intrigue within the tenement trail audience. They have an undeniable infectious rhythm and provide nothing but sheer entertainment. They’ll open up Nice N Sleazy with a burst of colour and indie sound at 2:30pm, so get down early.
ST.MARTiiNS are set to mystify Nice N Sleazy at the prime time of 7:30pm. An electronic groove paired with bouncing and fluent guitar work have them named as one of Scotland’s ones to watch. Not only are their instrumentals somewhat hypnotic, but so are the beautiful soaring vocals. They will not doubt be one of the standout acts of the day. The Old Pink House are one of the few bands on the line up from outwith Scotland. Making their way up from England, the quartet initially seemed to appear from nowhere armed with some anthemic indie tunes. Describing themselves as cosmic pop, their toe tapping tracks are a force to be reckoned with. Appearing at Broadcast at 4pm, see them now before everyone’s trying to get their hands on those tickets.
Anteros are another act travelling from down south. They have an effortless and sexy rock n roll vibe that will instantly draw you in. They perform with a youthful vibrancy making it difficult to tear ones eyes away. It’s a fantastic retro fueled performance that you’re sure to love. The four piece play the O2 ABC2 at 6:45pm. Last but certainly not least are headliners Clean Cut Kid. Their artistic guitar riffs and their charming love songs can make it difficult to not just simply fall in love with them. They have a wonderful comedic sense of humour and a colourful stage presence making them the perfect headliners for this festival. Playing the garage at 9:30pm, they’ll be the perfect band to round up your festival.
