Sway – Planet Earth – Single Review

Sway are a young Glasgow band hotly tipped as one to watch this year. Solidifying this notion is the release of their new Double A Side ‘Planet Earth/ Give You It All’. Launching this Friday at Broadcast, it’s a shiny look into a glistening new bands future. Recorded by Chris McCrory of Catholic Action and mixed by Gianluca Bernacchi of The Vegan Leather, delve into our review of this shimmering track.

A distortedly hazy riff brings in a groove inducing bass-line and sparkly upbeat drum rhythm while dulcet vocals breezily flow alongside warm fuzzy melodies.

‘Planet Earth’ holds a dreamy air to it with rich luring tones, a colourfully sunny underlying synth melody and distorted lively refrains which continue to add to the overall positively infectious feel of the track.

Combining sun soaked indie guitar riffs with delightfully pop synth elements and a distinctively sublime feelgood factor. This track sets itself apart from many realeases just now and leaves us excited to see what the future holds for Sway.

If you haven’t already show them some love and support by getting along to their single launch at Broadcast, Glasgow this Friday (April 21st). Ticket link below ❤️
