A week ago Pleasure House dropped an absolute tune of a single, worthy of all the reviews. ‘Save Me’ is a track that you need to listen to and I’m here to tell you why.

Moving away from previous conceived ideas of Pleasure House’s sound, the single has everything you would expect (and more) from a summery indie tune. Although still having traits of the bands up-beat and feel-good single vibes, the underlying electronic melody gives it an added breezy and lively feeling that you can undoubtedly move your feet to. Structurally the song fits together perfectly and flows well from one section to the next, with relatable and well written lyrics coupled with  uplifting instrumentation. It’s neatly packed into four minutes of pure joy, leaving you with the incessant need to play it again and again. With a hip swaying melody, the song builds through each verse to the super catchy chorus that you find yourself dancing to consciously or not, it’s uniquely different to a lot of singles that have been released lately. The boys have seriously knocked it out of the park with this truly great release, it leaves you excited for future material from Pleasure House. I genuinely got excited about reviewing this single just because it is so good and I love it. It is definitely a single that everyone needs to wrap their ears around. They are definitely a band to watch, they have great things ahead of them.

Give the single a listen…

You can catch the guy’s on their UK tour this September and October and if I ever give anyone any decent advice then let it be this. You will seriously regret not going to see them so get yourselves along. They will also be gracing the stage with their presence at our event (Earth, Wind & Freshers) as our headliner so there are plenty of opportunities to see them so you have no excuses.
