So ‘Are We Ready (Wreck)’ is the first single to be released by the Irish Indie-Pop trio since 2013, new material has long been anticipated by fans as details on a third studio album were announced all the way back in early 2014.

The new single moves away from their earlier sound but still has the same up-beat, Indie-Pop undertones running through it. Two Door have definitely moved with the times as the new single fits perfectly with other Indie songs that are floating around at the moment. It’s Synthy underlying melody and gang vocals, help to give the song depth and add to it’s up-beat feeling. The cleverly written lyrics for the single further add to it’s overall success of being an absolute tune, the lyrics tackle the consumerism trend that society is suffering at the moment. So they are back and they are already making waves, with their well structured lyrics and open minded opinions that they are not afraid to share. I am excited to see what the rest of their album has in store for us upon it’s release in October.

Two Door Cinema Club have a pretty prestigious festival run coming up with appearances at Glastonbury, Belladrum and Reading and Leeds. The band are without a doubt back and serious on staying put.

Give their new track a listen…
